The heart and soul of the Wildcats program since he returned from Stanford University in 1991, Andrew Vlahov retired after 300 games and went on to buy the Perth Wildcats. 'Drew' represented Australia in three Olympics and three World Championships. Now part owner of the team, Drew led his team to its third NBL championship in June 2000. He represented Australia for the fourth time at Olympic level at Sydney.

As a successful basketballer, knows all about the importance of commitment and focus. The skills he acquired on the court he now translates in the business arena as the CEO and owner of the Perth Wildcats.

Andrew is dedicated to the growth of basketball in Australia and expansion in Asia. The Perth Wildcats play a regular season game in Singapore. Vlahov was instrumental in securing the Phillips Four Nations Tournament for Perth.
